Experiences on the edge of Babitonga Bay

Babitonga Bay, in Joinville, is a natural treasure of unique beauty. Its calm waters embrace a rich marine biodiversity, providing a habitat for several species of fish, crustaceans and birds.

In addition to its ecological importance, the bay plays a fundamental role in the history and economy of the region, serving as a waterway for the transport of goods and the first German, Swiss and Norwegian immigrants who began the colonization of these lands.

Guarás are precious in our region, they are considered one of the most beautiful Brazilian birds. The bird is born with grayish feathers and only after a year does it acquire an intense reddish color, as it feeds on crab rich in carotene.
