How to get to Joinville

Joinville has a strategic location. Located on the banks of a duplicated section of BR-101, it is home to an airport with a capacity of 500 thousand passengers per year.

It also has easy access to three other large air terminals within a radius of 200 km: Curitiba, Navegantes and Florianópolis. Bathed by Babitonga Bay, Joinville is close to five of Brazil's main ports: Paranaguá, 120 km away; Itapoá, 80 km; São Francisco do Sul, 57 km; Navegantes, 85 km; and Itajaí, 88 km away.

The city ranks 6th in total industrial workforce population in Brazil. According to the IDEB (Basic Education Development Index) ranking, Joinville is home to some of the best schools in Santa Catarina and southern Brazil.

Not only basic education is well evaluated, but also higher education. Joinville has 15 Universities, which offer 145 different courses and deliver more than 2,000 graduates per year.

A large proportion of Joinville's population is in the economically "active" age group (15-64 years old) and the availability of qualified labor surpasses its main competitors.
